Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment have laid charges following an investigation involving internal theft from a local gas station.
In October, 2021 the OPP Caledon Detachment initiated a theft investigation following the complaint from a local business owner about missing property and cash. It was estimated that over $200,000 in currency and over $5,000 in property had been taken from a gas station on Highway 50, in the Town of Caledon.
As a result of the investigation the manager of the business was arrested on November 3, 2021.
The accused, NISHA,(No other name) 24 years old, from Brampton has been charged with:
·        Theft Over $5,000
The investigation is continuing.
