Fail To Remain Collision Leads To Impaired Ooperation Charges

A 24-year-old from Brampton faces charges after a two-vehicle collision in Caledon on Sunday.

Provincial Police received a report about a crash just after noon at the intersection of Healey Road and Coleraine Drive. Police say that during the investigation they were able to establish the identifying information of the fail to remain vehicle involved and identified the driver. After locating the driver, officers felt the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

Police laid charges of impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. The driver is scheduled to appear in an Orangeville courtroom on February 1 to answer to the charges.
