Assault at Secondary School Results in One Person Transported to Hospital

Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment responded to an assault at local Caledon high school resulting in one person being transported to hospital.

On November 3, 2021 at 12:15pm, members of the OPP Caledon Detachment were dispatched to Mayfield Secondary School for the report of an assault. Upon arriving officers located one victim who was transported to hospital with injuries.

Officers remain at the scene currently continuing the investigation. There is no immediate threat to students and the school was not placed on lock-down.
