A Peel ambulance transporting a person to hospital landed in a ditch after a collision on Heart Lake Road in Caledon on Jan. 22.
The person in medical distress did not suffer additional injuries in the minor collision, according to Peel paramedics. The collision took place around 2:30 p.m. Police say road conditions were a factor as there was heavy fog along with icy patches on the road.
Paramedics said the person being transported to hospital was picked up by another ambulance and one other person was taken to hospital.
