This spring, over half a million households in the Greater Golden Horseshoe and surrounding areas will be asked to take part in the Transportation Tomorrow Survey (TTS), a study looking at the travel habits and preferences of residents.
This mailing will arrive at randomly selected households during the week of April 17. If you receive an invitation to take part in the survey, you are encouraged to participate. Your input will help make future planning decisions as population and employment continue to grow throughout the region, such as updating Peel’s transportation model, designing future rapid transit corridors, and implementing road improvements.
The data collected from this survey will provide Peel a better understanding of how residents interact with the transportation network and help plan improvements to roadways and active transportation facilities for all road users – drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit users.

Peel Region is participating in the TTS together with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), Metrolinx, the TTC, and municipalities across the study area. Results from this survey will guide transportation planning and investment decisions that reflect the needs of our communities.
The survey runs through mid-June 2023 and the results will be and released in 2024. The Transportation Tomorrow Survey has been issued every five years since 1986.
