Free confidential paper shredding returns to Peel

Peel is again offering residents free confidential paper shredding next month. The service will be available at three Community Recycling Centres (CRCs).

May 4 is at the Fewster CRC, Heart Lake is hosting an event on May, and May 25 occurs at the Bolton CRC.

Paper shredding on these dates will be available during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents can bring unbound paper documents such as taxes, bills, income statements, and personal information.

The region says in order to keep traffic flow moving quickly and efficiently, participants will not be able to stay and watch their documents be shredded.

Along with your papers, residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank. Regular fees apply to all other items brought to the CRCs for disposal.
