In April, Canadians across the country recognize Sikh Heritage Month as an opportunity to celebrate Sikh culture and heritage and acknowledge the important contributions Sikhs have made to our communities. To celebrate check out these books written by Sikh authors available through the Caledon Public Library.

To celebrate Sikh Heritage Month, join Caledon Public Library for Bhangra 101 workshop and experience the exuberance of bhangra, in this easy-to-follow dance workshop! Bhangra is a traditional dance form of the Punjab region in India. Have fun and learn some basic Bhangra moves from a qualified instructor. Absolutely no dance experience required, just bring your enthusiasm!  Please wear comfortable clothes. This program takes place on Thursday, April 27 at 7pm, at our Southfields Village Branch.
