Rotary Bolton’s ‘Caledon Kids First’ Program Returns

Bolton Rotary has a strong history of helping their community. That mission to do good work continues as they announce the return of their Caledon Kids First (CKF) program.

Over five years Bolton Rotary has sponsored 155 youth under age 18. This has enabled these young people to enjoy the health benefits, friendship building, and learning experiences of being involved in sports.

CKF provides funding for sports and wellness programs for families in need. Caledon Community Services (CCS) and school social workers often forward names for eligible families. Activities have included dance, soccer, karate, skating, baseball, hockey, music, swimming, and more.

Funds to continue this program are raised through Rotary events and from donations from private sponsors who firmly believe in its value and Rotary’s desire to make a difference in children’s lives. The sports organizations are paid directly.

As sports registrations are starting up again now Bolton Rotary invites you to participate in this heartwarming cause by contributing to the program or by helping to spread the word to families who are currently experiencing hardship.
