On October 1st the Town of Caledon invites you to join us at the Fall for Caledon Age-Friendly Expo to celebrate International Day of Older Persons and enjoy Caledon’s signature fall attractions, experiences and tastes!
Learn about Caledon’s programs and services from our information booths and spotlight speakers and enjoy a free lunch featuring live performances from local artists.
Formerly known as the Senior’s Expo hosted in the spring annually, the Expo was a great source of information and connection for the older adult community. During the pandemic, the expo was unfortunately cancelled with the last event held in 2019. In its stead Seniors Month Swag bags were offered as a safe way to get information and resource to residents.
As we move towards our new “normal” we are proud to introduce the new and improved “Age-Friendly Expo” being held annually in the fall around the beginning of October.
This year, please join us in participating in our Fall for Caledon Age-Friendly Expo with information and resources for older adults and their caregivers living and working in the Dufferin-Caledon area.

Location: Alton Legion, 1267 Queen St W, Alton
You can browse the Expo and speak with local service providers for information, resources and supports available in the Caledon area. You can also attend speaker sessions (see details and times under “Spotlight Speakers”) to learn more about Caledon’s program and service offerings this fall .
Join in for lunch – between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – on the patio and live music! Your free lunch includes a hot dog (vegetarian available), chips and your choice of pop or water (limited quantity available). Free coffee and tea is also provided – as well as donuts courtesy of Downey’s Farm.
