OPP Requesting Public Assistance in Stolen Vehicle Fire

Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment and crews from the Caledon Fire and Emergency Services responded to Healey Road for a vehicle fire, in the Town of Caledon.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at approximately 12:30p.m., members of the OPP Caledon Detachment as well as several stations from the Caledon Fire and Emergency Services responded to the report of a fully engulfed vehicle fire on the shoulder of Healey Road near Innis Lake Road.

Once the fire was extinguished it was learned that the vehicle had been reported as stolen on December 6, 2021 from Brampton.

The vehicle was a white Honda 4-door sedan with Ontario license plate #BWZA101.

The OPP Caledon Detachment is asking for the publics assistance to identify who may have started the fire or been seen with the vehicle prior to the fire having been started. Healey Road is a frequently traveled roadway and investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have dash-camera footage of the area.
