Person Charged After Parking Stolen Vehicle in Driveway

Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment arrested two persons after a stolen vehicle was discovered parked in residence driveway.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers from the OPP Caledon Detachment attended an address on Centreville Creek Road, in the Town of Caledon, for a non-police matter when they discovered a stolen vehicle parked in the driveway. The vehicle had been reported as stolen from Orillia on December 4, 2021.

Investigation led to the arrest of two persons at the residence.

Manpreet SINGH, 28 years old, from Brampton, was charged with the offences of:

·       Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

·       Possession of Methamphetamine

·       Possession of Cocaine

The accused is scheduled to appear in Orangeville Provincial Court in February, 2022.

A 21 year old, from Brampton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant held by York Regional Police.
