Driver Blows Three Times Over Limit – Car Overflowing

Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment stopped and charged a driver following public complaints about the vehicle’s driving.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at approximately 4:10p.m., a concerned member of the public reported an erratic motor vehicle westbound on King Street in the Town of Caledon. Members of the OPP Caledon RIDE Unit were able to intercept and stop the vehicle near Coleraine Drive and Harvest Moon Drive soon after.

Upon stopping the vehicle members found the vehicle over flowing with partially full and empty alcohol containers.

The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. The driver was transported to the Caledon Detachment where breath samples were submitted resulting in results of over three times the legal limit.
