Caledon OPP Arrest Former School Supervisor

Members from the Caledon Detachment Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged an individual in relation to a sexual assault investigation in the Town of Caledon.

Last month, police received information regarding an allegation of a sexual assault of a student by a former school supervisor. The sexual assault was reported to have taken place in 2019, while the accused was a school supervisor at the Jehovah Jireh Christian School in Caledon. As a result of the police investigation 78 year old woman from Orangeville, has been charged with five counts of sexual interference, five counts of Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age and five counts Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on a later date to answer to the charges.
