Brampton Brick Donates $100,000 to Support their Caledon Neighbours this Holiday Season

Brampton Brick, true to their business philosophy, has been a long-time corporate supporter of Caledon Community Services (CCS). The Company has donated to the Home for the Holidays Gala beginning in 2002, supported the annual Kidz in Caledon campaign and sponsored Velocity, our cycle ride that started in 2018 in support of Caledon seniors.

This holiday season they are bringing hope and joy to hundreds of Caledon children, families and individuals with a $100,000 donation to CCS’ Santa Fund. Their decision to make this exceptionally generous donation was inspired by the rising hardships experienced in this community as a result of the pandemic.

It’s fitting that in giving so generously they allude to Winston Churchill’s famous quote that “We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.” This is a guiding philosophy that inspires Brampton Brick’s generosity.

“We are fortunate that we are business members of several thriving communities, and that we can enjoy giving back to these communities in kind, to help support the many local services and programs to benefit the people who live and work there,” says David Carter, President, Brampton Brick Limited. “This year we are excited to donate $100,000 to Caledon Community Services and we look forward to seeing the people of Caledon continue to benefit and thrive through the many events and programs that it provides.”

As our neighbours continue to struggle with the impacts of COVID-19 and seasonal hardships, this holiday donation will help CCS serve the needs of the community at a difficult time.

“Brampton Brick’s investment in Caledon families is beyond exceptional,” says Monty Laskin, Chief Executive Officer of CCS. “On behalf of our entire organization, I want to thank Jeff Kerbel and his entire team for this kindness and generosity of spirit. It is deeply appreciated and the impact will resonate right across the community.”

As the holiday season arrives, CCS’ Santa Fund is in full swing, providing nutritious food support and holiday meals, help with heat and much more to ensure Caledon remains one of the best and brightest communities to work and raise a family.

Everyone can make a difference through a Santa Fund donation, online at www.ccs4u.org or by calling 905-584-2300 ext. 260. As the demand over the holidays and throughout the year continues to grow, your support is vital. This year more than 375 families will benefit from your generosity. Please donate today.
