Caledon OPP lay another impaired charge

Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a traffic stop and charged the driver with impaired operation.

On July 11, just after 9 p.m., an officer on patrol on Kennedy Road in the community of Southfields Village conducted a traffic stop. Police say the vehicle was being driven erratically and after an investigation the driver was arrested.

The 35-year-old Caledon man was also charged with passing with approaching traffic and driving a vehicle with liquor readily available.

The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on August 1. The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
