For those of us who love our fur babies any opportunity to help creatures, large or small, domestic or wild, is one we want to hear about and join in on if we can.
So it’s awesome to hear that this month you’ll have exactly that opportunity thanks to a win-win fundraiser in Bolton.
With a 27-year history of serving Caledon Rovili’s Petworld is a familiar name for local pet owners. On Sunday April 16th from 10:00am until 2:00pm owner Lisa Oppedisano invites you to have your own pet expertly tended and the funds raised will be donated to Procyon Wildlife.
Procyon is an organization, whose radius includes Caledon, that is dedicated to helping wild animals in need of care. Their goals are to rescue, rehabilitate and safely release these animals back into the wild.
At the Rovili’s Nail Clip-A-Thon professional groomer Kara from Spaws Dog Grooming will be there to trim the nails of any of your four-legged friends – dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, or guinea pigs.
As addition, Kim Peters and Dawn Basham of Dogs BeHaven Training Solutions will be on hand to answer questions about dog behaviour and training.
In return a minimum $8 donation is requested.
When: Sunday April 16th from 10:00am until 2:00pm
Where: Rovili’s Petworld, 9 Nixon Road, Bolton
What: Having your pet’s nails trimmed will support wild animals that need care – it’s a win-win!
Questions: Lisa at 416-951-5331
