Caledon Holiday Toy and Food Drive

Town of Caledon Fire & Emergency Service is teaming up again with Caledon Community Services (CCS) to support the ‘Santa Fund’ program ensuring that families and children have food and gifts this holiday season.

“It’s a privilege to partner with Caledon Community Services for the holiday food and toy drive,” said Fire Chief Darryl Bailey. “This is an opportunity for all of us to give back to our community and help ensure that all children in Caledon have food and gifts.”

Due to the health and safety protocols that are still in place, fire stations and CCS will NOT be accepting toys or gifts this year. Instead, community members are asked to donate gift cards. Denominations of $25 will be preferred and graciously accepted.

All gift cards will be given out to the families for parents and caregivers to personally shop for the items desired by the children.

If toy donations are received, they will be diverted to Evolve Clothing (4 Industrial Road, Bolton) for retail sale, as they are equipped to safely handle these types of transactions. All proceeds from the toy sales will directly flow to CCS’s Santa Fund campaign.

A reminder, people can always donate financially online at ccs4u.org/donate or donate food items directly to the Exchange.
