Officers from the Dufferin detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have seized a quantity of drugs and made an arrest after executing a search warrant in Orangeville.
Police started an investigation near Fead Street in the town on March 17 and executed a search warrant three days later. A 32-year-old Orangeville man has been charged with seven counts of failing to comply with a probation order, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a Schedule I Substance.
Police say they seized 19.7 grams of assorted coloured fentanyl, a note for Purolator to deliver the drugs to a mailbox and a cell phone.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Dufferin OPP.
