Provincial police in Caledon have arrested a driver for impaired operation.
On Sunday, just after 1 a.m., an officer patrolling Mayfield Road conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, grounds were formed that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
A 25-year-old male from Oshawa was charged with failing to submit a breath sample, driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor and careless driving.
The accused is scheduled to appear in an Orangeville courtroom on March 20.
