A 64-year-old Bolton man has been charged with disobeying a sign after his big rig became tangled in wires on a gravel road.
Police say they received a call earlier this week that a tractor-trailer was hung up on some overhanging Bell fibreoptic wires on a gravel no truck route. The truck and driver were located and the investigation revealed the driver was not making a local delivery in or around the area.
Police said the driver tried to argue with officers that the wires were “too low.”
