Town holding Remembrance Day ceremony

The Town of Caledon is holding its annual Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph at town hall, honouring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Monday morning’s event begins at 10:30 with a march from Robert F. Hall High School to the Cenotaph and the service begins at 10:50. Among those attending are Royal Canadian Legion veterans, mayor Annette Groves and members of council, along with emergency services officials. Student singers and musicians from the high school will also be performing.

The town wants to remind residents that Old Church Road, between Innis Lake Road and Atchison Road, will be closed on Monday from 10:30 to 10:50 and again from 11:30 to 11:50 during the service.

Vehicle traffic will not be permitted to pass through the site during this time, but pedestrian access will be available.
