Two people face a long list of charges after members of the Caledon OPP recovered a stolen vehicle thanks to an alert from an Automated License Plate Recognition (ALR) system.
Just before 11 p.m. on Oct. 28 an officer was on patrol on Kennedy Road in Southfields Village. The ALPR system released an alert to the officer of a stolen vehicle. Police say it was located at a residence on Valleyscape Trail. Two people were arrested and charges were laid after a search warrant was executed.
A 27-year-old of no fixed address was charged with possessing automotive master key, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
A 31-year-old from Brant County was also charged with possessing an automotive master key and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Both accused were held for a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.
