Thirteen vehicles were taken off the road during a commercial vehicle inspection blitz last Friday near Caledon.
Provincial Police say 50 inspections were carried out leading to 51 charges. One driver was also issued a three-day suspension for registering a “warn” during an alcohol screening test.
The inspections were conducted in the area of County Road 109 and Highway 10 and involved the OPP, Peel and York police officers, the Ministry of Transportation and Caledon Fire and Emergency Services.
