Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have charged a driver with impaired operation.
On June 25, just before 1 p.m., police received a report of a possible impaired driver on Old School Road. Officers located the vehicle and formed grounds that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and was placed under arrest.
A 53-year-old Caledon man was also charged with driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available. Police say the accused had a blood alcohol level three times over the legal limit.
The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on July 11 to answer to the charges.
