A three-day national archery tournament kicks off Friday in Caledon.
The 2024 Canada Cup East event is being held at The Archers of Caledon and will showcase athletes from Canada and the U.S.
“It’s an honour for us to host the 2024 Canada Cup East and we have furthered our partnerships with the Government of Ontario, the Town of Caledon, Archery Canada and Archery Ontario to grow the capacity and the sport of archery with this event,” said Mark D’Cunha, vice president of The Archers of Caledon.
The organization said Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones will attend the opening ceremony Saturday morning and announce grants to significantly expand the archery sports facility.
