Ontario’s Most Holiday 5k & 10k Coming to Caledon Dec 4th

Imagine starting and finishing your run amongst the holiday lights with Jessey the Elf running or walking with you and your family.  The C3 Nuvo Iron Egg Nog Jog has been going for over 40 years.  The event started in Georgetown 4+ decades ago to raise funds and smiles around the holidays.  Five years ago the local organizers asked C3 to take over the event and its been in Caledon since.

The Dec 4th event is back with both a 5k and 10k event (after 2 pandemic years with just a 5k race).  Former Olympic Coach Barrie Shepley and his C3 team are raising funds for local athletes and charities this year.  Every participant gets an incredible swag bag which includes a $25.00 winter hat,  a copy of Barrie Shepley’s book Chasing Greatness and other goodies.

Everything is within the roads of Albion Hills Conservation park on Hwy 50 north of Bolton.  “Our goal is to make a festival fun family activity (you can walk or run) and to help keep the holiday energy going” said Barrie Shepley.  Those who register by Nov 27th will have their names on their race bib and everyone is eligible for great draw prizes.  There is no day of race entry.  Enter at www.c3online.ca.
