Vehicle Leaves Scene After Hitting Pedestrian In Caledon

Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a collision involving a vehicle failing to remain after hitting a pedestrian.

On September 21, 2022, at approximately 6:08 a.m., Caledon OPP responded to a collision where a vehicle hit a pedestrian and left the scene. The incident occurred on Kennedy Road, just north of Benadir Avenue in the Town of Caledon. The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

The involved vehicle is believed to be a dark-coloured Volkswagen Jetta between the years of 2011 to 2016. It sustained damage to the passenger side mirror and possibly the front right corner.
