2022 Municipal and School Board Election – Voter Information

The 2022 Municipal and School Board Election will be held on Monday, October 24 with voting locations open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. We encourage voters to take advantage of our advance voting opportunities to avoid long lines on Election Day.

Advance Voting Information

Advance voting is available on October 8, 14, 15 and 21! For a full list of times and locations visit caledon.ca/vote.

Vote Anywhere!

Eligible voters will be able to cast their ballot at any voting location. Visit caledon.ca/vote for a complete list. While you can vote at any location, you may only vote for the candidates running in the ward where you live or own property.  To find out what ward you’re voting in based on the ward boundary changes, visit Find Your Ward for the 2022 Municipal Election.

Voter Look-up

To vote in the election you must be on the Voter’s List. The list is maintained by Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). To ensure your information is accurate or to confirm that you are on the list, visit caledon.ca/voters.

Voter Notification Cards

Everyone on the Voter’s List will receive a Voter Notification Card in the mail in mid-September before the advance voting days begin. Make sure you bring your Voter Notification Card with you when heading into a voting location to make it a fast and easy process. When you vote, you must bring a separate piece of identification that includes your name and address to receive a ballot such as a valid Ontario driver’s licence or valid Ontario photo card.
