Recycling is certainly one of those 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) that gives us a bit of power to minimize what heads to our growing landfill sites.
Yet sometimes things that can be recycled are not. We are not always sure about whether the item is recyclable or about some other aspect such as whether or not the lid needs to be separated first.

How about other items like hazardous waste or tires? You can use this waste sorter to find out if a specific item is accepted at a Community Recycling Centre (CRC) and how to prepare items for safe disposal.
