Visitors will find pure inspiration and expert advice at the spring Home and Lifestyle Show, April 29 – May 1 at Caledon’s Albion Bolton Community Centre.
Presented by The Caputo Group of RE/MAX West Experts, the show floor is filled with an incredible selection of industry experts and vendors… from smart renovations to eco-friendly projects, current design and décor trends, sustainable landscape design and garden tips, home maintenance and upgrades … and so much more.
DIYers can bring their ‘back of the shelf’ projects to front-of-the-line with ‘hands-on’ advice from industry experts.
“Today’s savvy home owners are looking for smart ideas and solutions for their homes inside and out,” says show producer Liz Shaughnessy. “They want smart renovations which not only increase the value of their home, but are also energy-efficient, provide multi-purpose or re- purposing space solutions, while reducing their carbon foot print.”
While kitchens and bathrooms still top the ‘to do’ list for most home owners, these priorities are joined by expanded multi–purpose outdoor living (aka save commute time to the office or cottage) as working remotely from home has become the new normal!
The daily Ask The Experts Stage brings practical advice and demonstrations to show visitors with lead-off 3x Renovator of the Year Michael Upshall of Probuilt Design + Build. Upshall will be speaking to costly building and renovation mistakes; Shaheer Khan, Sherwin Williams Canada product and trends expert “Colour Trends and Coatings that work”; the Buy/Sell equation in today’s real estate market presented by Anthony Caputo, team leader of the top 1% realtors in Canada, The Caputo Group of RE/MAX West Experts; Megan Schlosser, owner creator of Garden Detailing with tips and tricks for container gardening, and creating 3 season colour and floral/veggie gardenscapes; Stepping up your fitness regime with Orange Theory Fitness.
The Amorettos Fashion Show, held daily, features local celebrities strutting the catwalk with the season’s hottest trends in ‘haut couture’ locally designed and manufactured fashions and accessories.
The timely introduction of the Boutique Fair features specialty vendors with gift ideas (and certificates) for the special someone (or yourself) with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day quickly pending, plus the unofficial opening of barbecue season.
A uniquely pet-friendly event, visitors are encouraged, in lieu of paid admission, to make a donation to the show’s official charity Caledon Meals on Wheels.
