With the weather forecast bringing a messy mix to the area, the Town of Caledon has issued a winter parking ban and a significant weather warning.
Effective immediately, vehicles must not be parked on roads in Caledon at any time, and all parking passes are revoked. The Town issued the ban to keep roads free of obstructions for snow removal.
The ban will be removed once conditions improve.
Some harsh winter weather is in the Bolton / Caledon area today with snow mixed with ice pellets and the Town of Caledon has pulled out the no parking signs. A winter parking ban is currently in effect until the storm passes though. Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning and special weather statement indicating there could be significant freezing rain and flash freezing.
