The following letter was sent to JSC for publication by Bolton’s Ferrante family. The Ferrante’s morphed their driveway and garage into a Haunted House this year, for the 10th straight year, and succeeded in raising funds and food for The Exchange, while helping to create a sense of community.
Dear Friends and Neighbours, near and far:
Thank you to everyone who came to visit our haunted house from all over Ontario (Bolton, Orangeville, Brampton, Schomburg, Toronto). We had over 800 visitors on Halloween and countless number of people came before the big day.
Your donations were gratefully appreciated, we collected over 500lbs of food and $450 for the Caledon Exchange food bank.
Special thank you goes to Tubro Contracting, Verde Property Maintenance, Royal Town Construction and MVR Wholesale for helping us make this happen.
See you next year.
Rino, Matteo & Luca Ferrante
