Ontario adds 2,320 new COVID-19 cases

Ontario is reporting fewer than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases for the third day in a row.

The province added 2,320 cases Wednesday with seventy-two per cent in the hot spots around the GTHA and Ottawa.

The death toll is now at 8,374 after another 32 people died.

The recovery rate is steady at 92 per cent while test positivity is at 6.4 per cent.

Over 45,000 tests were done over the last 24 hours and over 140,000 vaccines were given.
