Peel Region Heads Into Full Lockdown

Peel Region has moved into total lockdown as of the 23rd.

The lockdown comes as cases in the area reach record levels. Currently, there are 2937 active cases in the area. However, the Caledon area only accounts for 3% of the total caseload, with 121 active cases.

Under a full lockdown, no public gatherings are allowed for religious services, weddings, funerals, etc. Restaurants can offer takeout, but indoor and outdoor service is prohibited.
